Intro. Vert.
I’m not sure why. I felt the need. To take a 10-question introvert-extrovert test. I already know. I am an introvert. I’d estimate. If the test gave a percentage. I’d be about 85% introvert.
I need time alone. I like quiet conversations with just a few good friends. I’m never bored by myself, but can be genuinely numbed of mind by party banter.
The extroverts of the world set the agenda for social norms. It’s time for a revolution, my friends. As Jonathan Raush said, “We can only dream that someday, when our condition is more widely understood, when perhaps an Introverts' Rights movement has blossomed and borne fruit, it will not be impolite to say I'm an introvert. You are a wonderful person and I like you. But now please shush.’”

ah, Lucia. i was thinking of you today and wondering where the heck in the world you are.
and i totally get this about you, this shushing.
Imagine how peaceful and quiet the world would be in the introverts set the tone.
At times I feel like an introvert and at times like an extrovert. I think I enjoy big parties less than I used to. And I like being alone more then a few years ago.
But I must admit I get PISSED when someone shushes me. Even the WORD "shush" bothers me. (When someone shushes me I want to punch them, I will openly admit it. Sorry!)
We hired a new co-worker on at work. She's SO freaking extroverted that I now know more about her, her family and, well, EVERYTHING than I ever cared to know. Frankly? I wish she'd get a nice dose of introvert. I'm tired of hearing about her dramas. For a blogger I'm awfully dang introverted. *g*
With you completely. Introverts are better company in general. I'm also numbed by banter. Bleh!
