If

If you could be anywhere doing anything today (whatever day it is right now for you), what would it be?

I think I’d be at my favorite beach in Montanita, Ecuador. It’s a surfers' beach, and the waves are high. I’d play in the waves and then head back to Rincon del Amigo to lay in a hammock and drink cervezas.

Puppy! Shoes!

I would be snorkeling cruise somewhere warm and colorful. Diving off the boat and then returning to it some time later in order to have lunch and warm up.

Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco. Fresh shrimp at seafood stand for lunch, and then walk to Columbus Ave for biscotti at Mara's Italian Pastry.

your little red feet and your little dog!
have to admit, I am where I want to be, doing what I want to do. And there are potato-black bean burritos warming up and beer cooling down...

Well, I hate to be predictable. At least I can say what I'd be doing!

LOL

I'd be reading a book in the garden. It's 5.52AM there right now. It would be quiet outside.. and I'd hear the fountain and the birds.

Oh, and I'd drink tea ~ and then go for a long, long walk.

:)

Peace,

~Chani

I'd be back in Thailand. Bangkok, to be precise. Amid the hustle and bustle of the street vendors of Khao Sanh Road. I loved that place.

Either that or diving in Phuket. What a great trip. I hope we can manage to get back there.

I'd be in the apartment I'm applying for today, and not having to live with my soontobeex-wife. That will be heavenly.

Or on a patio watching ships sail through the Panama Canal, while a band plays sexy latin beats.

On a beach in Korfu, Greece, just as the sun is beginning to set and most of the sun-worshippers have left the beach in search of supper.

The most beautiful place I've ever experienced is the Indian ruins at Mesa Verde. It's amazingly quiet there.

I'd be snuggling with the kids in bed, while my husband made us all hot chocolate and popcorn, before we all dozed off again....

I'm sure on another day I'd be more exotic, but right now I'm just sleepy....

Hi Lucia

That's ahappy photo. I enjoyed reading all of these wishes, including yours. This post has sent me on a path of self inquiry. I'm really not sure where I would like to be.

To be outside, with the sun on my face, eating strawberries and cream. Oh, how I miss my good old English summers (only a few more months left to go until it comes around again!)

Tyrell's Pass, County Westmeath, on Noelle's farm in a borrowed pair of Wellies, bringing in the cows (or the coos, as it's pronounced). Then into the kitchen to pick up a cuppa, and on into the living room to talk to the day's guests in front of the turf fire.
