Weekend with Harry
I spent the weekend. With Harry Potter. Not to worry. I'm not giving up any secrets. I didn't expect to be reading. I've been number 891 on the library's hold list for quite some time. But then. I went into the library on Saturday morning to pick up some other books on hold. And there were 4 copies on a cart near the front door. I pick one up and asked, "Are these actually check-outable?" They held a few copies for local library users. But I guess since no one knew, there were still a few left at 9:30. I am reading by a stroke of magic. Of a copy not captured in the bookstore at midnight. I am on page 498 of 759 pages. And even when I have a secret to share. I won't.

My daughter finished last night at about 9:00, and when she was done, she ran around the house telling everyone who would listen how it ends. :-)
I am so not into Harry Potter. But if I were, I can understand the hype!
I am reading it too. My daughter gave me her copy, and told me all the news. I don't like surprises.
I got into them by accident. I was perusing various ebooks available on line and found the first six volumes there. I devoured them all in a little more than six weeks.
My copy of Deathly Hallows arrived from Chapters by courier on Saturday afternoon. I'm not letting anything slip, either.
I am not a fan. Enjoy your reading though. :)
I am not into the Harry Potter so much but I am into reading so three cheers for books!
I know that was corny but honestly, I love sitting with a great book and falling into the story. Enjoy the finale!
I finished the book last night. Absolutely magical.
I just LOVE the HP books.... I was so concerned about not finding a copy that I reserved mine months before from a local bookstore---and they gave me a 40% discount for paying so early.
But I have been so busy in the evenings that I haven't had time to crack it yet---I shall this weekend. Thank you for not giving up the plot!!!!
I just got my copy in the mail Friday from Canada (so I could get the British jacket) but I haven't started yet. Maybe I'm putting off having it all end...
Great book, but I STILL have questions.
Me too,Nancy. Questions.
Oh, and even though the Eldest hasn't the nerve to even read book Three yet, he attempted to bribe me into telling him what happens to Harry and Dumbledore.
