Help a Woman Get a Mammogram
The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes about 20 seconds (really!) to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). It's quick and easy. Do it at least once a day for the rest of the week.
This doesn't cost you a thing (except for those 20 seconds). Their corporate sponsors and advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

We're getting a new health insurance plan and it does NOT cover the cost of mammograms. Does NOT. That is NOT "preventative medicine" in my book, and a shame...who has $500 for that kind of thing lying around? I'll pony up for it, but still...lots of women won't...and this is WITH insurance. Bah....
